Zoo Lights!

One of the things I enjoy most about the holiday season are all of the different, fun events which zoos host to tie in Christmas. At the Utah Hogle Zoo, they hold the annual Zoo Lights. If you haven't been before, it's a great way to get outside and enjoy the holiday season at a zoo by seeing all of the fun lights set up. Though some animals may be sleeping during this time, not all of them are! So if you're looking for a fun Christmas activity to do as a family, with a significant other, or just to get outside and enjoy your local zoo, I'd recommend checking your local zoo to see if they're hosting any type of special holiday event.

In researching what events other zoos hold around this season, I was thrilled to see that many also hold zoo lights as well as other fun events.  Here's a list of holiday events at some zoos around the U.S. Have fun!
